Explore the most breathtaking landscapes of the Andes Mountains on an unforgettable excursion—an experience you shouldn’t miss on your first visit to Mendoza.
Our journey begins along the famous International Route Nº7, where the impressive views of Potrerillos Dam accompany us before crossing the Cacheuta Tunnel. Our next stop is Uspallata, a strategic point from which we enter ancient Inca territory, passing through the picturesque villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, and the former ski resort Los Penitentes.
Along the way, we encounter the iconic Puente del Inca, a natural rock bridge over the Las Cuevas River, surrounded by thermal waters that emerge from its springs. Just a few kilometers away stands the majestic Aconcagua, whose viewpoint sits at 2,750 meters above sea level. At 6,962 meters high, it is the tallest mountain in the Americas and attracts travelers from all over the world who dream of reaching its summit.
The final stage of the tour takes us to the charming mountain village of Las Cuevas, located at 3,200 meters above sea level. Here we will stop for lunch and explore one of Argentina’s designated Authentic Villages. Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel to Chile, a seasonal road in summer allows us to ascend to the Christ the Redeemer Monument, located at 4,200 meters above sea level. This symbol of unity between Argentina and Chile offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Andes that will leave you speechless.
